The Honor Tax

http://www.honortax.org/index.html

The Honor Tax is a voluntary annual tax paid directly to the Wiyot Nation by people who are on their traditional territories. The amount is decided by the individual. This is a "tax" out of respect for Native Sovereignty - rather than a gift or donation. We all live on traditional Native homelands. If you do not live in Wiyot territory you can initiate an Honor Tax in your community!

Humboldt Asians and Pacific Islanders in Solidarity (HAPI)

https://hapihumboldt.org/

The purpose of HAPI is to build and empower our community by amplifying, supporting, and encouraging diverse voices and perspectives to foster a more engaged and inclusive community. We do this with community gatherings, panel discussions, creating and supporting collaborative projects (such as the Eureka Chinatown Project), cultural sharing and celebrations, bringing speakers and performances to our community, sharing food, and more.
